Where would the world of trout fishing be without the great almighty Bridge? Well it would be pretty hard to access a lot of spots with out them, that's for sure. I personally love to hang out under the bridges of the streams I fish. They can provide some of the best fishing holes on the stream. They can also make for some really nice look out spots..... just lay low and move slowly :) In the Driftless Area it seems like each road is like discovering a secret little heaven of your own. If you want to see how the trout fishing is in any particular stream just jump out and do a quick bridge fish. You never know what could be lurking in the usual deep shaded bridge hole. Here's to the bridges of our own personal little paradise on earth :) Tight Lines.
Until Next Time....... Tight Lines to All!!!!

ReplyDeleteAwesome pictures--so glad the kids are getting involved in fly fishing--by the way what program are you using to create the frames on your pictures---nice
Bill,
DeleteThanks a bunch. Kids and fishing go hand in hand. I am just using the blogger platform and under the design part of it I set the background and border to white so it kind looks like a frame for the pics. :) Tight Lines.
Nice post Mr. McGee! Love stopping at a bridge to sneak up to the rail and peek over. Some of the most exciting moments during a day of trouting. Also, some of the biggest fish I'll see all day :) Come on March! Hurry up!
ReplyDeleteDan B,
DeleteThanks much, I am waiting for the day when we can just trout fish year round already! Can't come soon enough. That will give everyone more time to discover some more sweet bridges :) Tight Lines.
