JINXED BY MY CAMERA ??

Well here is another quick little video.  I went out when the rain started to fall.  As soon as I got out there the rain ceased to exist.  It turned sunny and it was beautiful.  The only fish I brought to hand was not captured by the camera, due to it pointing in the wrong spot.  Oh well I will get them next time.  Luckily the day was saved by the beauty that surrounded me and the peaceful sounds of the wildlife.

I know this one isn't very exciting, but the next one will hopefully be a little more fishy.  All hand gestures in the video are intended for the actual camera that seemed to jinx my trip with slow, non existent hook sets :)

Until Next Time.......Tight Lines to All !!!!

So peaceful---the stream looks like it would hold some really nice trout. I like the looks of the stream flow and ease of catching from the banks. You have inspired me to do a video of some of the areas I fish on my local lake. Thanks for sharing

    1. Bill T,
Thanks a bunch. I prefer to bank fish rather than wade due to the whole spooky fish business :) These streams are pretty fishable from the bank for the most part. I look forward to seeing some of your sweet spots down there :) Tight Lines.

    1. Howard,
Thanks a lot. I promise the bird was meant for the camera, not you :) I use that tiny little flip cam right now. Hope to get a nice high def digital video camera soon. Tight Lines

    2. Hey guys, I picked up a Nikon AW100 and am in love with it. Great camera, waterproof, shock proof, freeze proof, 16mp, GPS, and records video in 1080p.

All this for $300, plus a nice carry case, charger, hookups, the works.

For someone as handy with a lens as you, T, it would be a very good investment, plus all settings can be controlled manually.

Oh yeah, it also comes with an adapter to mount your other lenses, all in a compact PAS camera. The next closest thing out there is the Panasonic Lumix (only 12mp), and the Pentax Optio WG-1, which is a pretty impressive camera too, just no GPS.

You guys should look into it.

  6. Liked the way the sunlight came through the tree as you paned across it. Pretty cool. Sorry about the missed one but you know the drill!

Thanks man. That trout has a date with my hands and camera in the future. I snoozed on the hook set. My bad. Tight Lines.

  7. I feel your pain...
My brother-in-law and I did a bunch of filming last year and I was surprised how much it takes away from your concentration!
Seems to me that we'd spend more time setting up shots and worrying about the camera than fishing.
Got 63 on Castle last Thursday...no camera.

  8. Just read your other comments and noticed that you were looking at shopping for a HD Camera.
It's still in "editing", but we got some great fall hopper footage using 3 cameras: A small handheld (probably like your flip cam) that we mostly use for time lapses. A Canon EOS Rebel T2i because it's a really nice digital camera and takes fantastic HD footage. And one of those GoPro HD cameras because you can mount them on a stick and have some fun with underwater shots...nice fisheye that comes with the GoPro.
    My 2¢

  9. Thanks for this nice post in this blog on fishing. I also like fishing specially carp fishing.Since my childhood I spent my leisure period in fishing. Among different kind of fishing , I prefer carp fishing. It is more comfortable and feasible than that of other fishing. Thanks again for this kind of fishing.
