Until Next time.......Tight Lines to all!!
Well,
ReplyDeleteThat title photo is awesome.
So is that beadhead fly, so is Oceans photo, they're all great.
Nicely done.
I love that bead head. I almost want to have a can of Raid on hand for it, nice photos.
ReplyDeleteVery Nice Magee. Always creative
ReplyDeleteOnce again TM, you've hit your high mark.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. How many sparklers did you got threw before getting the name right? It's hard to time the camera with your writing.
ReplyDeleteLove that 4th Fly! :)
ReplyDeleteGosh! Pardon my language please. What an honour! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteJust watch out on matching the hatch. Spiders' webs away from the water's edge can show you some flies, for example male spinners of certain species of ephemerids that actually never go back to the water. They mate over the land and their mates are the ones that head back to the water.
Those spinners in your glorious photograph are males. Before you start tying faithful replicas of them it would be worth checking that they are of a species that does indeed return to the water.
Very best wishes
Regular Rod
Good Stuff as always!

Savage,
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. I really liked the way it turned out. Now let's hope it catches some fish :) Tight Lines.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much. Glad you like the pics. Tight Lines.
KEv,
ReplyDeleteThanks much. Believe it or not that was the first try and same sparkler. Set the shutter to 6 seconds and took two photos. I might try it again and make it a little nicer. It was a blast playing with sparklers again. Felt like a kid. Tight Lines.
e.m.b.,
ReplyDeleteThank you. It seemed like a good few colors to use. Hope it works. Tight Lines.
Regular Rod,
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot, no problem. Thanks for all the great advice. This particular web was stretched across a little side stream part of the main stream. I will do some research and check if indeed they do return to the water. I was thinking a light blue dun pattern, maybe.
Tight Lines.
Kevin,

Sanders,
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot. The drifters don't stand a chance :) They will be instantly hooked. I am always impressed when Ocean shows me his photographs. Makes a father proud for sure. Tight Lines.
