That pattern looks very tasty. I too have been tying that mullet extra long for great action in the water. T-Magee is swinging streamers!
ReplyDeleteThanks man. Those rabbit strips amaze me how life like they make a fly look. I was inpsired by your Samuari design :) Tight Lines.
DeleteI love tying anything with bunny strips! they look so good! Nice brookie too!
ReplyDeleteBlake F,
DeleteThanks a lot. Bunny strips rule. That Brookie was a surprise to me. I had another good sized one on that escaped my hand grasp by about an inch. Next time :) Tight Lines.
Beautiful fly! and even better brookie! My hat's off to you.
ReplyDeleteKiwi,
DeleteThanks much. That Brookie couldn't resist one last drift past his nose :) Tight Lines.
Nice looking streamer! I think I will give it a tie myself. Nice fish as well. Thanks for the post Magee
ReplyDeleteBrian S,
DeleteThanks a lot. Let me know how the fly works for you. The fish around here seem to really dig the brown. Tight Lines.
Not a lot of work when it's in the water. Doesn't seem to need a lot of stick waving. Looks like all you have to do is put it out there and let it sit until you get interest. I like it.

Shoreman,
DeleteThanks much. I like to let it sink then hit bottom, then retreive as if it's injured. Thats when most of the bites came deep. Tight Lines.
Great looking streamer pattern! From the looks of those two pigs you're holding you already knew how good it looked to the fish so I'm not telling you anything am I? One things for sure , it's a mouthfull of fly!
ReplyDeleteHPFF,
DeleteThanks a lot man. The fish were thinking all you can eat buffet when it swam by thier face :) Tight Lines.
I'll take 10. =)
ReplyDeleteKevin F,
DeleteIf I wasn't dirt poor you would have 10 on the way :) Since I am here is my etsy link where I sell them :)

Tight Lines.
The proof is in your hands...good stuff!
ReplyDeleteSanders,
DeleteThanks much. I just kept pitching it deep and they couldn't just let it get away. Tight Lines.
Nice pattern. Throwing meat!
ReplyDeleteJustin,
DeleteThanks a lot man. It really gets the ole 3wt flexin when I toss all that fluff. The fish seem to dig it so I deal with the splashes that come along with each cast :) Tight Lines
