They Just Can't Resist It :)

Here is a Castle Rock Killer Zonker Streamer I tied up recently. Check out the action on this fly. It looks like it is a real fish waiting for food to float by. The browns love it and so do the Brookies!!

  1. That pattern looks very tasty. I too have been tying that mullet extra long for great action in the water. T-Magee is swinging streamers!

    1. Blake F,
Thanks a lot. Bunny strips rule. That Brookie was a surprise to me. I had another good sized one on that escaped my hand grasp by about an inch. Next time :) Tight Lines.

Thanks a lot. Let me know how the fly works for you. The fish around here seem to really dig the brown. Tight Lines.

  5. Not a lot of work when it's in the water. Doesn't seem to need a lot of stick waving. Looks like all you have to do is put it out there and let it sit until you get interest. I like it.

    1. Shoreman,
Thanks much. I like to let it sink then hit bottom, then retreive as if it's injured. Thats when most of the bites came deep. Tight Lines.

    1. Justin,
Thanks a lot man. It really gets the ole 3wt flexin when I toss all that fluff. The fish seem to dig it so I deal with the splashes that come along with each cast :) Tight Lines
