Here is a little video that I threw together from the other day. Sorry about the shaky beginning and the music choice. The music I originally used off of my computer was not usable due to copyright infringement. So bare with me, I promise the videos will get better with time :) I finally got good internet out here in the boonies. This video is from a stream that is within walking distance of my home. Sorry about the lack of video catching fish, most of them were biting after dusk and the flipcam couldn't get the video. Hope it's not to shardy :)
Until Next Time ........Tight Lines to All !!!!!!!
you tube can go to hell with the copyright infringement. it should be a place for amateur video makers...
ReplyDeletekudos on the internet though, dial up must have been brutal
Blake H,
DeleteI hear you man. The choices of music were horrible for a 7 minute video. What do you use usually for you videos?? Dial up was like having a nail stuck into your bare foot. This new internet is like an extra large sno cone on a 100 degree day :) Tight Lines.
Good stuff!!I love that fly, btw. That this has to be a killer bass pattern, too.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah...I agree with Blake
B.A.,
DeleteThanks man. That fly works pretty good here in the Driftless. I am sure the Bass will dig it as well :) YOUTUBE and their music is lame for sure :) Tight Lines.
Sweet Vid Magee! Self filming can always be a daunting task. The stream with the huge rock outcroppings looks stellar! I too have been having trouble getting decent internet service at home. I hate the restrictions on you tube. Do you know if vimeo is any better as far as music copyrights go?
ReplyDeleteBrian,
DeleteThanks a lot. I got so excited when I got the new internet I ran right out of my house to the stream. After shooting that video I learned what not to do :) I will definitely check out vimeo but I have a feeling they may have the same policies as well. Guess I will just have to start making my own music :) Tight Lines
Man--you are soooooo lucky to be living so close to a stream like that. How many trout have you taken from those undercut banks? Beautiful stream with easy access--thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteBill T,
DeleteThanks much. I count my blessings everyday living so close to the water. I rented my home and was quick to ask if I could buy it beings how close it was to the trout stream. Those banks hide many a trout. It has
Brookies, Browns and Rainbows as well and runs for 12 miles. Tight Lines.
Nicely done once you got past the Blair Witch Project at the beginning. And you're right, dial-up is like a nail in your foot. I've had DSL for years, but have never forgotten dial-up.

Mark,
DeleteTHanks man. That beginnig was caused by my pure excitement to get to the stream. I will try to forget the ole dial up but some of those nightmares will be etched in my mind forever :) Tight Lines
BRAVO
ReplyDeleteNicely done.
Brk Trt,
DeleteThanks a lot. It is the first of many more to come :) Tight Lines
Good Stuff TM!!! Similar pattern called a slump Buster, I'll use on the current olive or Copper always best.
ReplyDeleteKevin,
DeleteThanks much man. I hope you catch a monster with it :) Tight Lines.

ReplyDeleteAaron,
DeleteThanks a lot man. At least it was Zepplin riff right :) I can't wait to get out there and put a much better video together. I found a great song just gotta see if they will let me use it :) The line shall dance some more and no prob on the mushroom pics...I think I can hear your stomach grumblin across the hills..or that may be thunder. Peace bro and Tight Lines.
After I got over the seasickness...the video was great. I love the look of that water. The flies look killer and as usual, you know what to aim the camera at.
ReplyDeleteHoward. Thanks much. The beginning was pretty choppy :) They will get smoother I promise. Tight Lines.
