Trout MaGee's Tiny Little Movie :)

Here is a little video that I threw together from the other day.  Sorry about the shaky beginning and the music choice.  The music I originally used off of my computer was not usable due to copyright infringement.  So bare with me, I promise the videos will get better with time :)  I finally got good internet out here in the boonies.  This video is from a stream that is within walking distance of my home.  Sorry about the lack of video catching fish, most of them were biting after dusk and the flipcam couldn't get the video.  Hope it's not to shardy :)

  1. you tube can go to hell with the copyright infringement. it should be a place for amateur video makers...

kudos on the internet though, dial up must have been brutal

    1. Blake H,
I hear you man. The choices of music were horrible for a 7 minute video. What do you use usually for you videos?? Dial up was like having a nail stuck into your bare foot. This new internet is like an extra large sno cone on a 100 degree day :) Tight Lines.

  2. Good stuff!!I love that fly, btw. That this has to be a killer bass pattern, too.

    Oh yeah...I agree with Blake

Thanks man. That fly works pretty good here in the Driftless. I am sure the Bass will dig it as well :) YOUTUBE and their music is lame for sure :) Tight Lines.

  3. Sweet Vid Magee! Self filming can always be a daunting task. The stream with the huge rock outcroppings looks stellar! I too have been having trouble getting decent internet service at home. I hate the restrictions on you tube. Do you know if vimeo is any better as far as music copyrights go?

    1. Brian,
Thanks a lot. I got so excited when I got the new internet I ran right out of my house to the stream. After shooting that video I learned what not to do :) I will definitely check out vimeo but I have a feeling they may have the same policies as well. Guess I will just have to start making my own music :) Tight Lines

  4. Man--you are soooooo lucky to be living so close to a stream like that. How many trout have you taken from those undercut banks? Beautiful stream with easy access--thanks for sharing

    1. Bill T,
Thanks much. I count my blessings everyday living so close to the water. I rented my home and was quick to ask if I could buy it beings how close it was to the trout stream. Those banks hide many a trout. It has
Brookies, Browns and Rainbows as well and runs for 12 miles. Tight Lines.

  5. Nicely done once you got past the Blair Witch Project at the beginning. And you're right, dial-up is like a nail in your foot. I've had DSL for years, but have never forgotten dial-up.
